Commercial Plant Rooms

Working with Sunpak Projects, Connected PlumbGas has been involved with renewing high rise plant rooms with workable solutions to high demand and strict temperature requirements. Sunpak Projects directors Gordon Ryan and Charlie Notting provide the expertise in customised solutions and complex problem solving for any hot water retrofit or changeover solutions, for centralised hot water systems in high rise or any other commercial high demand environment.

Commercial Coffee Roaster

Connected PlumbGas can provide commercial gasfitting services for any commercial production plant. A recent example was fitting and fluing a commercial coffee bean roaster, sized at 23kg of beans per hour.

Commercial Heating & Restaurant Heaters

Connected PlumbGas can supply and install heating systems for interior and exterior restaurant dining. We recently installed overhead gas heaters at Machu Picchu restaurant in Maroochydore,  for heating their alfresco style dining area. These were Bromic Hiflo 2 panel and 3 panel heaters, which are very efficient LPG heaters. We can also install overhead gas tube heaters. 

Commercial drainage

Our commercial drainage services include grease trap installation, and cutting & reinstatement of existing floors for installation of new drainage.

Commercial Grease Trap Installations

As the name suggests a “grease trap” captures all the grease flowing down a restaurant drain line before it goes into the council’s sewer mains. Without such devices the congealed grease and fat would choke up sewers, cause major blockages and cause havoc especially in high density shopping districts. Connected PlumbGas has EXTENSIVE experience with installing grease traps of all shapes and sizes.

Commercial Laundrette

Renovations at local Coolum Laundrette where the tenancy was encompassing the neighbouring tenancy to fit in more dryers and washing machines. The commercial dryers were moved into the new area which meant two new 200mm gas flues from the units up 4ms through the ceiling and roof.

A scissor lift was used to gain access to get up and over the 5.5m parapet wall safely. The gas bottle arrangement was also completely over hauled with 2 new "fat boy"bottles used instead of a column of 6.45kg bottles. This meant completely new 32mm gas line run into the tenancy to feed the existing dryers, new dryers and the continuous flow hot water unit in the back of shop.
